Scaddy's - Salt Lake City, Utah
I’d heard of Scaddy’s through a fan site of my local football team, the Utah Utes. Any place which supports my Utes, I’ll support.
I took the family there before a play for a quick bite. The wife had a grilled cheese, my boy and I had cheese steaks and my daughter had a chicken salad. The food all looked great. The report I got on the grilled cheese was “good” and the chicken salad was “good.”
My cheese steak lacked in flavor a bit. But I’ve been to Philly dozens of times and eaten countless cheese steaks there. Nobody here in Utah does them right and neither does Scaddy’s.
The fries were very greasy, which is good in my book. If you are going to eat fries, why not have greasy ones?
Conclusion
Scaddy’s was a good change of pace from a regular burger place. But I won’t go out of my way to go back. The food was “good” but not great.
