This sauce is an interesting darker color. I was excited to try it. I busted it out at a family party to see what the guests thought, but too many were wimps and said it was too hot. The sauce is not hot, at least to me. But then again, I drink habanero juice to quench my thirst on a hot day.
The sauce is more sweet and a little heavy on the vinegar for my taste. It would also be nice if the sauce was a bit thicker too. It is so runny that it takes a sure and steady hand to keep it on a chip and prevent the sauce from slopping on your shirt.
At the end of the party, when half the bottle was still left, was the telling tale. We decided not to save it.
